Gooseberry Kiwi and Feta Starter

We love cooking and always look forward to sharing a good evening meal, taking great care to present dishes which are inventive, balanced, nutritious and delicious. Pure and simple, made with love.
We prepare all our meals using fruits and vegetables which are home grown in our own vegetable garden. During the autumn and winter seasons, we may receive wild pheasant, fowl, hare or sometimes cuts of venison from the local hunt. To preserve the amazing flavours and wholesome substance of all these super fresh ingredients, our dishes are kept sophisticatedly simple.
Depending on the weather, table d'hôtes meals are served either by candle light out in the garden or around the fireplace in the dining room.

Included in your room rate is a healthy, energising breakfast to kick-start your day. Breakfast is served in either the dining room or the garden and consists of toast, muesli, home-made confitures, free range chicken/duck or goose eggs and yoghurt, served with coffee, tea and fresh fruit smoothies.

There are several small restaurants nearby which serve set lunches and you will enjoy this very French experience. Alternatively, if you are planning a long walk or a day trip out, we can prepare a picnic lunch consisting of delicious savoury snacks, fresh fruit and water. But if instead you just want to relax at La Divine, you are very welcome to join us here for a light lunch.

Even today, meat and fish remain very much loved and ingrained in French cuisine and vegans and vegetarians will struggle to find their preferred food in the French countryside. We will however be very happy to cook vegetarian or entirely vegan meals, or adapted meals if you have specific food intolerances. For those with serious allergies, please note that wheat, nuts and other potential allergens are used regularly in our kitchen.

* Please let us know at time of booking if you have any dietary requirements, so that we may serve meals according to your needs.
