The southern edge of the magnificent Loire Valley is a peaceful rural land of rolling wheat, corn and sunflower fields interspersed with rich green valleys. This tranquil corner of beautiful France, with its sweeping views and winding country roads meandering through sleepy villages and small historic market towns, holds strong traditions and a rich cultural heritage,. It offers beautiful landscapes and architecture, excellent food and wines and of course great weather. We feel very lucky to call this our home.
During your stay you may well want to explore the area a little and discover the local way of life.
There are many good reasons to venture out, for, being located well off the beaten tourist track, our largely undiscovered corner of France offers many things to do and interesting places to visit throughout the year. From vintage car races, canoeing, brocantes, beautiful gardens and spectacular castles, golf, music festivals, heritage weekends and karting to wine, food and truffle markets, equestrian shows, ostrich farms, hot air balloon flights and waterskiing.
BUT of course you can also choose to do absolutely nothing - and we quite understand the need for that. In fact, we'd like to think you have chosen to come here for exactly that reason: to switch off and relax, to breathe fresh air, reconnect with yourself and shake off any pressure of having to do anything at all. Our location here in the beautiful valley offers the perfect environment for it.
