"A haven of peace!
We spent 3 nights in this bed & breakfast and met Claudia and Paul, two friendly people who took great care of us. The accommodation is super clean and very tastefully decorated. We loved the breakfast every morning!
It's easily an hour's drive each day to visit the nearby chateaux and banks of the Loire, but well worth it if you're looking for a little cocoon to recharge your batteries. The roads are beautiful and in the sunshine day trips are a great option.
I must stress the quality of the welcome we received, it's been a long time since I've had that via airbnb. Many thanks again to Claudia and Paul and also to Doug for their kindness and the richness of our conversations! Great times. See you soon!

"A guest room like you find less and less.
Ideal to discover the region or to relax during a business trip. The room has all the necessary comforts and is located in an outbuilding, perfect for privacy especially when you have to come back late. Our hosts were charming and caring and their pets (dog and cats) were also very welcoming. We felt at home! :)
We were delighted to share an evening meal with Paul & Claudia. Their food is healthy, creative and the ingredients are largely from their organic micro-farm. The sweet and savoury breakfast was also a treat. If you are reading this and have never tried the famous English marmite, feel free to put the word out to Paul. He will be happy to prepare some toasts for you ... ;)

It all started with a lovely warm welcome on arrival. Even the cats and dog are welcoming, and great fun. We elected to have a meal prepared by Claudia, and are so glad we did. It was such a rich and rewarding experience and Claudia and Paul are such excellent hosts. It was like being with old friends.
The accommodation is excellent and charming, displaying to great effect Paul’s considerable building skills and Claudia’s flair and innate gifts with soft furnishings. It was a real surprise to find this high level of comfort in such an old building.
